TurtolCMS Update - Release Notes - Version 0.5.18

We have just released a new version of the TurtolCMS. This release focused primarily on bug fixes, but you can view a list of all New Features and Bug Fixes below. For more information, see http://turtolcms.org. Any TurtolCMS sites hosted by Turtol, including demo sites at turtolcms.org, were automatically updated to this version.

Note for Developers: Our previous tar.gz download files were missing key resource files. This issue has been resolved, so if you previously downloaded the tar.gz file please try again by clicking here. The installation steps were also updated.

New Features

1. Paste from Word: To allow cleaner pasting of text from Word, a Paste from Word button was added to the Editor for Div Widgets.

2. Improved user creation wizard: A confirm password field was added to the user creation form displayed when configuring the TurtolCMS and text throughout the process was clarified.

Bug Fixes

1. Images smaller than 68 by 68 pixels can now be uploaded.

2. Validation has been improved throughout the TurtolCMS.

3. HTML entities are now properly handled by the Editor. This allows HTML characters, such as tags or non-breaking spaces, to be entered in the Code view and properly handled by the Editor.

4. Widgets were being displayed based on position incorrectly in some cases. They now are always displayed from top to bottom according to their Position attributes in ascending order.

5. The Preferences tab is now displayed first for the Contact Form Widget.

6. A template created prior to Themes, before version 0.5.17, will display NoTheme in the Theme selection field (since no theme could have been set when it was created) instead of the Aroma theme as it did previously.
