TurtolCMS Update - Release Notes - Version 0.5.19

We have just released a new version of the TurtolCMS including the New Features and Bug Fixes listed below. Any TurtolCMS sites hosted by Turtol, including demo sites at turtolcms.org, were automatically updated to this version. For more information, see http://turtolcms.org.

New Features

1. Page URL Editing: Page URLs (web locations) can now be updated while editing pages and Link Widgets (CSS Links and Script Links). This was previously only available when adding a page or Link Widget.

To update a page's URL while editing a page, click the Properties tab and then click the Edit button next to the URL field. This will display a text field that can be used to make changes. After saving the page, all links that reference the page will need to be updated to reflect the change.

2. Table support for Div Widgets: The Editor now allows HTML tables to be added and edited through the Editor, without requiring use of the Code view.

3. Lowercase extension of uploaded files: If a file is uploaded with an extension containing any upper case characters, the upper case characters are converted to lower case.

Bug Fixes

1. Templates referenced by other pages or templates can no longer be deleted. When trying to do so, a message is displayed explaining this. If all of the references to the template are removed the template can then be deleted. Templates without any children can always be deleted.

2. If a Link Widget is created or edited referencing a page without a leading "/" character, the "/" character is pre-pended automatically.
