We have just released a new version of the TurtolCMS including the New Features and Bug Fixes listed below. Any TurtolCMS-based sites hosted by Turtol Hosting, were automatically updated to this version. For more information, see http://www.turtolcms.org.
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to provide demo accounts for the TurtolCMS. We hope to offer this service again in the near future.
New Features
- We added a new page type called the "Image Compositing" which will render an image overlaid with other images and/or text. Configuration isn't available yet, but we will be adding an editor in the future. For now, you have to manually edit the database to enable it.
- The Calendar module has been significantly updated. Again, the admin interface is lagging behind.
- The Newsletter module has been reworked a bit too, including a dry-run option on the tcmsSend routing. Admin updates to come.
Bug Fixes
- We've updated the admin javascript to work in Firefox 3 (and be more in line with prototype best practices).
- Lots of little regressions and silly errors since 0.6 have been squashed.
- Creating a new Css Link or Script Link (and corresponding new page) would use the wrong page type.
- The logout link on the About page was fixed.
