A: Because we haven't gotten there yet. But we will. We're working on quite a few features, and we'll roll out as many as we can as fast as we can.

Q: "arnim" asks: [What are the] security issues with using a browser to edit a site?
A: Securing editor-level access to a TurtolCMS-based site is similar to using other web publishing methods. For space reasons, this will have to be a short answer; we'll work up a more robust response with lots more details soon. Basically, the threat model for using a browser to edit your site it the same as using any other web-publishing mechanism. If your local machine is compromised, all bets are off. If you send your credentials (username/password) to the server in the clear (over HTTP rather than HTTPS, or FTP vs sFTP/scp, etc), you risk those credentials being sniffed or intercepted. The simplest way to prevent this is to use an HTTPS connection for all your editing work.
